Simmons Perrine PLC attorneys Annie Hardin and Joann Mulholland will present at the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) Iowa Chapter’s 14th Annual Corporate Counsel Forum on June 12, 2026, at Drake University Law School in Des Moines.
The annual forum brings together in-house counsel from across Iowa for a full day of education, networking, and professional development. The program features a variety of timely legal topics and offers continuing legal education (CLE) credit, including dedicated ethics programming.
Hardin and Mulholland will present “Human Judgment Required: Ethical Duties and Employment Risk in AI-Driven Decisions,” a one-hour ethics session scheduled from 10:15 to 11:15 a.m. Their presentation will examine the growing role of artificial intelligence in workplace decision-making and the ethical responsibilities attorneys and employers must consider as technology continues to evolve.
Annie Hardin is a litigation attorney with a decade of experience representing clients in complex civil and commercial disputes. Based in her hometown of Cedar Rapids, she focuses her practice on business and commercial litigation, insurance defense and coverage, transportation law, premises liability, and medical malpractice defense.
Joann Mulholland advises clients on employment-related matters, helping organizations navigate workplace risk, compliance, and legal strategy. She joined Simmons Perrine in 2025. Joann served as a career services coordinator and adjunct faculty for the University of Northern Iowa for four years prior to law school.
