Christine Conover is a medical malpractice attorney with extensive trial and litigation experience defending claims against physicians, medical providers, clinics, and hospitals throughout Iowa. She also represents licensed medical professionals on licensing and disciplinary issues.
Christine is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, a Fellow of the Iowa Academy of Trial Lawyers, and a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates. She has served on the Iowa State Judicial Nominating Commission and is a member of the Simmons Perrine PLC board of directors.
Christine graduated with distinction from Iowa State University in 1995 and earned her JD with high distinction from the University of Iowa College of Law in 1998. After clerking for Justice Jerry L. Larson of the Iowa Supreme Court, she practiced in Iowa City before joining Simmons Perrine PLC in 2000.
She is a past president of the Iowa Defense Counsel Association, the Iowa Organization of Women Attorneys, and the board of directors of Waypoint Services for Women and Children. Born in North Platte, Nebraska, Christine was raised on a farm in Mapleton, Iowa, before relocating to Cedar Rapids.
