The Corridor Business Hall of Fame recognizes Eastern Iowa business leaders who have demonstrated a lifetime of business success and established a legacy of leadership within their industries and communities. Honorees exemplify impact, integrity, community commitment, leadership and entrepreneurial spirit.
Nick is a 34-year attorney and member of Simmons Perrine PLC, where his practice focuses on real estate and corporate and business transactions. Beyond his legal practice, Nick has demonstrated a longstanding commitment to public service. He currently serves as Mayor of the City of Marion where he has promoted a transformative vision that has grown the city’s total valuation by $2.5 billion and made Marion one of Iowa’s premier communities.
Nick was inducted alongside fellow 2026 honorees Tom Barnes of Barnes Manufacturing Services, Robin Therme of CIVCO Medical Solutions, and Entrepreneur Honoree Cale Henderson of Fun Not Fancy Restaurant Group. The 27th annual event was held September 24 in Cedar Rapids.
